Kent currently serves as the Director of Musical Theater at Playwrights Horizons. While at Playwrights, he has overseen the development and production of The Burnt Part Boys, The Shaggs, Fly By Night, Far From Heaven, Bella: An American Tall Tale and Iowa. He is currently working with composer/librettist Michael R. Jackson on his A Strange Loop. He created the New Works Initiative at TheatreWorks in Palo Alto and The Uncharted Writers Group at Ars Nova.
Mary is a longtime supporter of the theatre and performing arts. She was introduced to Old Sound Room through Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLA), which partners with her law firm, Paul Hastings LLP. She has come to share the OSR vision and is delighted to support their venture. Mary has had a legal practice in commercial real estate and corporate matters in New York for over 20 years, and is pleased to have an opportunity to draw on her experience in service of the arts, and OSR in particular.
Tony is a NYC-based technology executive and was recently elected to the OSR Board of Directors, serving as Treasurer. He has 18+ years experience driving innovation and launching tech products across the globe. At Old Sound Room, he hopes to use his experience and passion to innovate how technology is used in theater and live performances.
Currently teaching in the NYU Tisch Graduate Acting Program, Fay has taught at The Yale School of Drama, The New School, and the Actor’s Center. Informed by her 20-year career in the rehearsal room, the teaching studio and onstage as teacher, director, choreographer, and dancer, Fay developed a transformational mind/body training method called The Lucid Body, a process of introspection, exertion, and mental challenge which empowers actors to express their fullest potential.
