OCTOBER IN THE CHAIR
AND OTHER FRAGILE THINGS
Mr. Gaiman has a restless, playful intelligence and a fan boy’s devotion to oddball genre, and the performances are deft and spirited.
–The New York Times
There is a kind of alchemy at play on that stage. Anyone with an interest in direction, performance, design or any part of theatre should take heed of what OldSoundRoom is doing.
OCTOBER IN THE CHAIR AND OTHER FRAGILE THINGS defies classification. It is brilliantly performed and totally enjoyable, even if your skin crawls from time to time.
–Electronic Link Journey
Old Sound Room has staged an artfully seasonal, ancient ritual with pomp, rivalry, and decorum. Aptly cited as Gaimanesque, organic fantasies are without a glimmer of science or tech. Production values, even on this limited scale, are grand.
