We're THRILLED to announce our newest project...
OCTOBER IN THE CHAIR
AND OTHER FRAGILE THINGS
by Neil Gaiman
adapted for the stage
This collection of short stories captivated our company with its magical worlds and unexpected hilarity- we're so excited to bring it to life...
IN AMSTERDAM! We've been selected to bring FRAGILE THINGS to the 2014 Amsterdam Fringe Festival this September. We will also be bringing another new piece called I ASKED FOR WONDER, based on the ideas of theologian and rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel.
Then just last week we were selected for a producing intensive at The Araca Project, here in NYC. We will be continuing our work here on FRAGILE THINGS, culminating in an Off-Broadway production at the end of October.
ALSO... after winning Best International Performance at the Amsterdam Fringe last year, Machine Makes Man (the OldSoundRoom production created by company members Adina Verson and Michael McQuilken) has been invited to the Grahamstown National Arts Festival in South Africa this July.
and ALSOOO, company member extraordinaire Fisher Neal worked his butt off over the last few months (with the help of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts) and got us officially incorporated! a huge step on our journey to becoming a non-profit.
So stay tuned for more details, and hopefully we'll see you in Amsterdam! or South Africa! or New York!
